About
An engineering studio built for software that has to be right
Who we are
Specialists, on purpose
We spent twelve years building software across many industries. The pattern that emerged: the work we are best at — and the work clients value most — is software where a mistake is expensive. Payment reconciliation. Clinical workflows. Abuse investigation pipelines. AI features that must not hallucinate their way into a compliance incident.
So that is what LaunchStacks does now. Not every technology for every industry — production AI, data platforms, cloud modernization, and secure SaaS, for teams whose software carries real stakes.
We are deliberately small and senior. The engineer on your kickoff call writes the code, reviews the pull requests, and answers when something breaks at an inconvenient hour.
Leadership & team
Small, senior, and accountable by name
- Team model
Small and senior
Every engagement is staffed by senior engineers — no leverage pyramid.
- Distribution
North America · Europe · Asia
A deliberately distributed team, hired for judgment rather than geography.
- Working hours
U.S. time-zone coverage
Overlap with U.S. Eastern working hours on every engagement, async by default.
- Network
Specialist partners
Design, security review, and compliance specialists brought in per engagement.

Engineering principles
What we refuse to compromise on
Production is the only definition of done
A feature that has not survived real users, real data, and a real pager rotation is not finished. We build with launch day and year two in mind at the same time.
Write it down
Briefs, architecture decisions, acceptance criteria, runbooks. If it matters, it exists in writing — estimates included.
Boring infrastructure, interesting products
We spend novelty where users feel it and choose proven tools everywhere else. The platform should be the least surprising part of your company.
Honest scoping over easy yeses
We tell you when a rewrite is unnecessary, when AI does not belong in the feature, and when a smaller release will teach you more. Trust outlasts any single invoice.
Sensitive data is a privilege
Payments, clinical records, abuse reports — access is scoped, actions are audited, and the architecture assumes someone will eventually ask to see the logs.
Leave the codebase better than we found it
Every engagement ends with code and documentation the next engineer can pick up on day one — including engineers who are not us.
Delivery philosophy
Long-term by default
Most agencies optimize for the handoff. We optimize for the years after it. That changes how we build: observability from the first deploy, documentation as part of the work rather than an afterthought, and architecture your future hires can grow into instead of around.
It also changes the relationship. Most of our engagements continue past the first release — the same engineers, still accountable, as the product compounds.
Partner with us
We are building our U.S. presence and looking for a Growth & Partnerships Lead and a Founding U.S. Managing Partner — plus referral and strategic partnerships.
